CEP Presents: Talk environment to me!

It is the start of fall and we are looking for an excuse to bring CEP together, and what better way than through our Open Mic Night!

Come along and share with us your stories about your environmental-related profession, research project, or thoughts on environmental-related issues . The objective of the evening is to make new CEP friends and to know each other a little better.

How it works:

You will have about 3 minutes to tell us about any subject relating to your work, your research (or anything environmental-related for that matter, environ-puns welcome), followed by a couple of questions from the audience.

You will have an audience of other environmental professionals and soon-to be professionals. Here are examples of what you could share with us:

  • What you learned from failing at a task involving an environment related project at a past job
  • Pictures of the solar installation that you just put on your roof
  • A speech on your experience taking your kids to visit a local waste water treatment plant
  • A song about your work as a policy analyst working on oil spill prevention

Where: The Royal Oak, 188 Bank Street, Ottawa

(Bank Street at Gloucester) - (Please note that there are two Royal Oaks on Bank Street - we're on the one closer to Laurier!)

When: 6:00 -7:30 pm Monday, October 17, 2016

Registration is free and open to members and non-members!

Get to the bar early to put your name on the set list. You are also welcome to register if you are only interested in participating as audience.
