On International Women’s Day 2017, Startup Canada will advance the conversation, celebrate the contributions of women to the Canadian economy, and challenge Canada's 2.3 million entrepreneurs to Be Bold for Change to accelerate gender parity and further unleash the economic potential of women.

In addition to a full day of events online and in-person across more than 30 communities, Startup Canada will host an International Women’s Day live broadcast featuring women entrepreneurs and experts in the cleantech sector.

Join the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Rosemary Chapdelaine, Senior Vice President at Lockheed Martin Canada, Janice Ashworth, General Manager at Ottawa Renewable Energy Co-op, Susan Rohac, Vice President of Growth and Transition Capital, Ontario and Atlantic, BDC and Jane Kearns, Senior Advisor, MaRS Cleantech for a discussion to celebrate the contributions of women and advance the conversation around women in cleantech.
