Event Description
The National Capital Commission (NCC) launched in 2018 a Sustainable Development Strategy which provides a focused and innovative agenda for environmental leadership in Canada’s Capital Region. Creating sustainable communities requires collaboration across political and geographical boundaries and for this reason, the NCC aims to move beyond merely greening NCC operations and toward a more sustainable Capital Region. An overview of NCC’s Sustainable Development Strategy will be presented along with ongoing initiatives and current projects.
